Pat Weeden, Executive Director of the Kelch Aviation Museum, will present the "Golden Age of Aviation" at the February meeting of the Monticello Area Historical Society.
The Monticello Area Historical Society (MAHS) will meet at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Zwingli UCC, 416 E. Lake Avenue, Monticello.
Following a short business meeting, Pat Weeden, the Executive Director of the Kelch Aviation Museum at Brodhead Airport, where construction is nearly complete on Phase III of a new museum campus, will present the program: Celebrating the "Golden Age of Aviation." The museum features 15 vintage aircraft from the late 1920s and early 30s, along with vintage cars and aviation artifacts, all in a modern and family friendly atmosphere. Pat will bring photos and videos, along with a history of the museum and plans for the future.
This is a free presentation and will start about 7:15 p.m. Come join us, the public is welcome to attend both activities.
