Harvey Kubly of Monticello started his CPA practice in January of 1983, sharing an office with the Lindgren Agency in Monroe. In 1984, Kubly opened an office in Monticello, at 148 N. Main Street, sharing an office space with a real estate firm. Eventually the office in Monroe was closed and Kubly took over the entire office in Monticello. In May of 2022 Kubly moved to the new location at 203 E. Lake Avenue in Monticello.

In March of 1988, Brenda Zweifel started part-time, later becoming full-time. Donna Riese, a long-time employee, came in December of 1993 and stayed until she retired in 2014. Riese worked part-time afterwards until 2020. Laurie Patchen started in October of 2014, working full-time until 2017. Since then, Patchen has worked part-time.

Kubly has been active in many organizations through the years, including Monticello Industrial Development, the Community Club and Monticello Business Professional Association (predecessor of the Monticello Chamber of Commerce). Professional memberships include the National Society of Accountants (NSA) and the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP). He served for six years on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Chapter of NATP.

Kubly's is a full-service CPA firm, offering Accounting, Payroll and Income Tax Preparation services. They service a wide variety of clients including individuals, farmers, small business and non-profit entities. They currently serve clients in four states.

Kubly plans to hold an open house at their new office on Friday, December 30, 2022, from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
