With the help of Jeff Goebler and Jerry Judd’s 111 points, the Hayshakers outlasted the Shufflers by 16 points. Shufflers Ed Chancellor and Tom Meyer had this week’s high score of 117 points. The Pranksters, with the 110 points recorded by Larry Losenegger and Rodney Latham, took team Uff-Da down a notch outscoring them by 49 points. Larry and Rodney were handed their only loss of the night by Tom Magnuson and John Baumgartner, it was the last game.
Ope House outdid the Ott Haus by 15 points. Ope House had only a 1-point lead going into the 8th round. But, they closed the match strong by winning 3 of the 4 games. Bryan Buesser and Ed Wettach scored 110 points for the Ott Haus.
With the 113 points from Pipe Bender’s Mark Losenegger and Jerome Krantz, the River Rats fell to the Pipe Benders in this nail biter. In Mt. Horeb, the Norsk Cowboys rode right through the Troll pack trampling each and every one of them. After the trampling was over, Erika Forseth and Bruce Frisch had a heartbeat of just 50, this week’s low score. Closely behind was Scott Hook and Pat Baier with a rate of 60. After the exhilarating ride by Roger Olstad and Don Field, they recorded a rate of 116 bps (beats per second). Steve Dower and Ferdie Schmitz didn’t want to be left behind and recorded 115 bps. The Trolls loss by 162 points, this may be a record.
