The Town of New Glarus Parks Commission is once more holding its annual Tree Sale to benefit local organizations. Species available this year are Dawn Redwood, Norway Spruce, Quaking Aspen, Red Splendor Crabapple, Tamarack, and White Oak, all at $4.00 each. Order forms went out in late October, but are the form is still up on the Town website at http://www.TownOfNewGlarus.com. The deadline to order is December 26, 2022.

Tree pickup is expected to be Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Town Hall, 26 5th Avenue, New Glarus. Please check the Town website for updates.

The Parks Commission is currently planning its future recreational and educational programs and is continuing its efforts to build hiking and biking trails throughout the Town. If you reside in the Town of New Glarus, please consider adding your voice and energy to these projects. The Parks Commission meets in person at 6:00 p.m., on the third Wednesday of each month at the Town Hall and via Zoom. Agendas are posted at least 24 hours in advance on the Town’s website.
