On December 6th, the Belleville Wildcats boys varsity basketball team played at Darlington. Down by 2 at the half, Belleville and Darlington battled back and forth in the second half for the win. Belleville, however, emerged the victor when, with 1.5 seconds left in the game, DeMarcus Conner completed a driving layup to give Belleville the win. The final score was Belleville 62, Darlington 60.

Leading Belleville in scoring with 19 points was DeMarcus Conner, while Andrew Ace put 13 on the board and Kaden DeSmet scored 9 points.

The Wildcats played at Cuba City on December 12th. They will host Lake Mills on December 16th, play at Lancaster on December 19th and at Turner on December 22nd.
