Lady Wildcats Defeat Lodi

The Lady Wildcats varsity basketball team played at Lodi on December 6th. The game was tied at 22 at the half, but Belleville stepped it up on offense in the second, outscoring Lodi and winning the game. The final score was Belleville 54, Lodi 42.
Maddi DeSmet led the Wildcats with 24 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 4 blocks while Addison Edge scored 10 points and had 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals and Kailey Prochaska scored 9 points and had 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block.
On Friday night, December 9th, Belleville played at Deerfield. A halftime deficit of 4 points led to a flurry of scoring in the second half by the Wildcats to tie it up and send the game into overtime. Unfortunately, Deerfield managed to outscore Belleville in OT and won the game. The final score was Deerfield 54, Belleville 52.

Belleville played at Poynette on December 13th. They will play at Wisconsin Heights on December 16th before heading back home to take on Lancaster on December 22nd.
