Schadewalt Reaches 1,000 Career Points

New Glarus girls basketball varsity Head Coach Kevin Parman presents Lindsey Schadewalt with a ball and plaque after Schadewalt scored her 1,000th career point on December 1, 2022. Schadewalt becomes the seventh player to reach the milestone at New Glarus High School.
The New Glarus Lady Knights hosted Lakeside Lutheran on December 1st. Up by 10 at the half, New Glarus cruised to a 63-47 win over the Warriors.
Lindsey Schadewalt also reached 1,000 career points during the game becoming just the seventh player to reach the milestone, joining Jeanne Bischoff, Class of 1982; Marlaina Feller, Class of 1984; Brenda Jelle, Class of 1990; Jessica Ott, Class of 1996; Bri Hauge, Class of 2007; and Jaylynn Benson, Class of 2021.
Leading New Glarus with 27 points was Lindsey Schadewalt, who also had 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block, while Alex Atwell scored 12 points and had 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 4 blocks and Grace Nommensen scored 9 points and had 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal.
On December 5th, New Glarus hosted Lancaster. They will play at Brodhead on December 10th and at Cambridge on December 16th.
