This week, Monticello High School had the first math collaboration with students from the Czech Republic for this school year. Students did a fun geometry activity measuring parts of our school and comparing it to the Great Pyramid of Giza. We also shared some of our fall holiday events and activities with the Czech Republic students, and the Czech Republic students shared with us how the Ukraine war is affecting them and their nation. We will have future math collaborations discussing different approaches to solving a variety of math problems.
