On Tuesday, October 11th, the Monticello Ponies varsity volleyball team hosted Black Hawk and won it in three, 25-12, 25-7, 25-13.
"The Grant sisters combined for the first 18 points of the 2nd game. With the help of some aggressive front row play, the Ponies got out to an 18-3 lead before finishing it 25-7," said Coach Rebecca Gustafson. "Black Hawk came out strong in the 3rd set, 11-11, before the Ponies pulled away and won 15-13."
Kelsy Grant had 4 aces on 21 attempts at 100% - no missed serves, along with 15 assists. Macy Grant had 3 aces and 11 digs along with 100% serve attempts....
