The Raiders started the week with a couple of important conference games in their battle to win Conference Champs. The Raiders first faced the Wisconsin Dells Chiefs at home during a hard fought, some would say, rivalry game. The Raiders fought strong in the first half, keeping their composure, but could not come out with a goal when the whistle blew at half. Knowing that losing this game might cost them Conference, the Raiders came out with a fiery intensity after halftime. A strong defense and a tremendous performance by Clayton Streiff kept the ball out of our net. With both teams having taken 22 shots by the end of the night, the success of the Raiders offense is ultimately what won the game, with two goals from Aiden Hatleberg in the second half, one as a result of a penalty kick and another a shot outside the box in the sixty-fourth minute off a cross by Eli Leonard. The final score of the game put the Raiders ahead 2-0. Clayton Streiff had 13 saves during the game as Goalie.

The second game of the week for the Raiders was on Thursday, October 6th, in Watertown against Watertown Luther Prep. With it being an early game the Raiders came out a little slow, but nonetheless their long corner passes and good possession led to a goal by Aiden Hatleberg to start off the scoring streak. The following goals were scored by Reid Nolden and again, Aiden Hatleberg. These goals were assisted by Aiden Hatleberg and Brycen Teasdale. The final score came to 3-0. This win was big as it got us even closer to their 6th consecutive Conference Championship title.

The Raiders next game is home Tuesday, October 11, 2022, against Cambridge/Deerfield. This exciting last conference game will consist of Senior Night. A win would secure their conference title. Additionally, the Raiders were also ranked #1 seed in playoffs. Good luck to the Raiders in the upcoming weeks!
