The Monticello High School FCCLA and the Monticello Lions are teaming up to hold a Pack A Sack Food Drive.

On October 18th, bags will be distributed to homes throughout the village of Monticello. Fill it up with non-perishable food items, toiletries, cleaning supplies or monetary donations (made payable to Green Cares Food Pantry) and they’ll pick it back up on Saturday, October 22nd, from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. - so make sure you have your filled bag back out on your front step or porch by then. Or you can drop it off at the Lions Shelter in the park from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Donations will then be taken to the Green Cares Food Pantry, where they will be given to families in need.
