Ponies Volleyball Undefeated in Conference Play

The Monticello Ponies varsity volleyball team won against Barneveld on Tuesday, September 6th, in three sets, 25-15, 25-11, 25-20.
On September 8th, the Ponies hosted Argyle, winning in three, 25-11, 25-13, 25-20. On September 10th, the Ponies played at the Brodhead Invite, taking third in the silver bracket. The Ponies won against Beloit Turner, 25-17, 25-17; Evansville, 20-25, 25-18, 8-15; New Glarus, 16-25, 25-21, 15-10 and Brodhead JVR, 25-9, 25-7. For the silver bracket, the Ponies won against Monroe, 25-6, 25-12; and Beloit Turner, 25-17, 25-17.
On September 13th, the Ponies won against Juda in three, 25-9, 25-6, 25-6. Ellie Gustafson had 19 kills, Macey Grant had 8 aces, Kelsy Grant had 27 assists and Jaden Zuber led the team in digs with 8.
According to Max Preps, Monticello’s next game is at Barneveld on September 29th.
