Alphorn Players and the New Glarus High School Pep Band entertained spectators before the Friday night NGM football game against Edgewood.

NGM scored pretty quickly in the first quarter, with a pass from Max Marty to AC Strok for a 50-yard gain. Ethan Seffrood's extra point was good. That was followed by an onside kick by the Knights, which they recovered, but couldn't make good on it due to several penalties on both teams that resulted in the Knights punting. Edgewood started out the second quarter with a score of their own and the Knights marched down the field to score when Marty tossed it to Ethan Friedrich for 6. The extra point attempt was blocked by Edgewood to make it 13-7, Knights. Edgewood replied by running back the kickoff for 6 and added another point when their attempt was successful and sailed through the uprights. Less than a minute later, Marty threw to Strok for a touchdown, but NGM's 2-point conversion attempt was unsuccessful.
