Mark T. Hellenbrand

Mark T. Hellenbrand, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2022. Born March 18, 1963, at home, to parents Delmer and Marion (Laufenberg) Hellenbrand.

Mark attended Middleton High School and graduated in 1981. After high school, Mark attended the UW-Madison Ag Short Course.

Mark married Sue Andreas on November 12, 1983. Together they farmed in Waunakee, Monticello, and in 1989 purchased their farm east of New Glarus. In 2004, Mark started Hellenbrand Septic Service LLC.

Anyone that knew Mark knew he loved to visit with folks. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye. The time spent with his grandchildren brought him the most joy.

Mark is survived by his wife, Sue; children, Rachel (Jacob) Leonhard, Becky (Eric Rackow) Hellenbrand, and Robyn Hellenbrand; grandchildren, Lily, Tayla, Reed, Colton, Leah, and Carter; mother, Marion Hellenbrand; siblings, Deb (Steve) Schultz, Paul (Karen) Hellenbrand, Janice (Tom) Williams, Anita (Mark) Nelson, Connie (Steve) Erb, Steve (Natalie) Hellenbrand, Lori (Shawn) Neumann, and Kristi Hellenbrand; sister-in-law, Margie Rem; and many nieces and nephews. Never far from his side was his faithful companion, Buddy.

Mark was preceded in death by his son, Ryan; father, Delmer Hellenbrand; brother, Raymond; brothers-in-law, Dave Rem and Jim Andreas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Andy and Bev Andreas; grandparents, Anton and Kathrina Hellenbrand and Theodore and Margaret Laufenberg.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, September 16, 2022, at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 338 S. Harrison Street, Belleville, WI, with the Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Belleville Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Belleville.

The Becker-Beal Funeral Home of Belleville is assisting the family.
