Last weekend was the Wilhelm Tell Festival in New Glarus. The festival kicked off on Friday, September 2nd, with the Alpine Showcase at New Glarus Fest Haus. The annual Lanternenzug Parade followed the conclusion of the musical events. Saturday's presentation of the Wilhelm Tell Play was cancelled due to weather issues. However, the "After Tell" party at Tofflers was a great success. On Sunday, was Art in Park, along with the play. The annual Friends of the Library Book Sale was held in New Glarus Village Hall on both Saturday and Sunday.
