Dear Editor,
Vote for Mike Bare.
I’m voting for Mike Bare in the primary for the 80th Assembly seat. I’m impressed by his unmatched list of accomplishments and the endorsements of 50 local officials.
Mike Bare is a Progressive who matches the traditions of this district set by Russ Feingold, Tammy Baldwin and Mark Pocan. We are in a time when those values are sorely needed.
Mike has spent a considerable amount of time advocating for expansion of Badger Care to cover more folks, including folks in nursing homes like your older friends and parents. Sadly the Wisconsin legislature has refused Governor Evers’s request to approve this increase in payments from the Federal Government. If Wisconsin had this nearly $1 Billion dollars per year it would free up state tax revenue for other needs like schools and health services, but no...
He is also committed to protecting our environment. Mike and his family have reduced their carbon footprint to nearly zero and has a strong vision for a green economy and sustainable future. He has helped secure millions of dollars for land preservation and as a member of the Dane County Board, supported trail expansion and making County Parks more accessible for people with disabilities.
We need leaders like Mike Bare.
