Maribeth Stanley, age 74, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at UW Hospital in Madison. She was born on August 30, 1947, at St. Clare Hospital in Monroe, the daughter of Elroy and Lorna (Marty) Eichelkraut.

Maribeth graduated from New Glarus High School in 1965. On April 28, 1973, she was united in marriage to Frank Stanley at the Swiss United Church of Christ in New Glarus. Maribeth worked as an administrative assistant for the State of Wisconsin for many years.

Maribeth is survived by her sisters, Lorene Webber and Shirley Howell; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, William Marty; husband, Frank Stanley; brother and sister-in-law, Bradford "Butch" and Peggy Eichelkraut; brother, Barry Eichelkraut; brother-in-law, David Howell; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Orielle Stanley.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 Sixth Avenue, New Glarus, WI, with Pat Pluss officiating. Burial is in the Swiss Church Cemetery, New Glarus, WI. A visitation preceded the funeral service from 10:00 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home in New Glarus.
