On Wednesday, July 13, 2022, New Glarus VFW Post 10549 presented Post Messenger Recorder editor Sue Moen with two awards. One was a citation for service to the community, and the other was a plaque for Community Service.

Both awards were presented to Moen by VFW Post 10549 Commander, Chad Caso.

Moen thanked the VFW and said she appreciated the work that the VFW does in the community and was deeply honored by the awards.
