WOW! What a great weekend. We were blessed with awesome weather, and lots of smiling and happy faces.
Thank you to those who help to get the parade entries in place and to Jim McNeill who did the announcing on Main Street, along with Danny Klitzke who sets up the sound system for the parade, plus many other events he helps us prepare for.
Thank you also for those who financially support the parade, because it couldn’t be done without you. There are some of those special entries that do request a fee to be part of the parade, and their participation enhances the parade. Thank you to: Greenwoods State Bank, Harvey Kubly CPA, Roger and Karen Brugger, Mt. Pleasant Perry Mutual, Kubly Tire and Service, Monticello Chamber of Commerce, Monticello Ford, Green County ATV Club and Pleasant View Nursing Home.
Thank you also to the team of volunteers that help line up the parade entries, and keep things organized. Thank you for enjoying the weekend with all of us, and see you next year!
