57th Annual Heidi Play
Since 1965, actors from New Glarus and the surrounding communities have presented Johanna Spyri's classic children's drama, Heidi, for thousands of people over the years. The beloved story of the orphan child Heidi and her gruff (but good-hearted) Alm Uncle will play out on the stage in the air-conditioned New Glarus High School Auditorium, located at 1701 2nd Street. Shows are at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24th; 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25th; and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 26th. While you wait for the show to begin, you can enjoy traditional Swiss music by local performers.

On Saturday, June 25th, the Blues, Brews and Food Truck Festival will be held at Village Park in New Glarus.
Ticket prices are $12.00 for adults, children 5-12 are $8.00 and children 4 years of age and under may attend for free.
Heidi has something for everyone and this timeless classic will entertain you, even if you already know the story by heart. To add to the charm, live goats and kittens are used during the production (often stealing every scene they're in!).
All proceeds from Heidi go toward funding the Heidi Folk Festival scholarship program.
