VFW Post 10549 was awarded the All State Honor at the VFW state Centennial Celebration for all of the hard work that our post members put in this year for our veterans and the community as a whole. Post Commander Chad Caso said, "This award is only possible with the help of every member. Just to be clear: Every member of our post made this possible, each and every member; but we don't do it for the award. We do it for the community outreach with a great passion to serve our country and, most importantly, to serve our veterans."
Caso also said, "It should be noted that Bill Hustad is a Post Founder and a Past State Commander and he also serves as our Post AND District Quartermaster; in addition to holding other chairs in our organization, he serves as an officer in several other veteran and non profit organizations. He is most certainly a valuable American, and serves our communities, our state and our great nation all more than we could ever imagine. He is also a Vietnam Veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. Thank you Bill, and Welcome Home Brother!"
