Members of the Swiss U-18 national hockey team visited New Glarus last week. The group enjoyed a walk around downtown New Glarus followed by a reception hosted by Hans Lenzlinger at the Chalet Landhaus. The team is playing in IIHF world U-18 championship tourney at the Capitol ice Arena. The 2022 IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championship will take place June 6-13, 2022, in Madison, Wis. LaBahn Arena, the state-of-the-art home of the University of Wisconsin women's ice hockey team, and Bob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena, home of the USHL's Madison Capitols, will serve as host venues for the competition.
