The Bombers were down early 5-1 in the semi-final game against the talented Huntley (IL) Red Raiders, but managed to score three runs in each the bottom of the fourth and fifth innings to win 7-5. Every member of the squad contributed in this great comeback effort.

Sugar River defeated the Wauwatosa Shock 12-2 in finals to take home the championship.

In winning this tournament, Sugar River qualified for the 2022 National American Fastpitch Association National Tournament. Way to go ladies!
