Hi my name is Emma Hendrickson, and I am running for the 2022-2023 New Glarus Dairy Queen. I am the daughter of Brandon Hendrickson and Kristen Hendrickson. I am 15 years old, and a sophomore at New Glarus High School.

Being a Dairy Queen is something I've looked forward to since I was a little girl. My two aunts and friends who served as county queens or princesses have been an inspiration for me - the opportunities they had as an agriculture ambassador encouraged me to run for queen.

My grandparents and uncle have a registered Holstein dairy farm outside of Belleville, where I've spent countless hours growing up learning about dairy farming. There, I found my unconditional love for Holstein cattle and started showing them at numerous shows, including many trips to the World Dairy Expo. I look forward to the selection process; it would be an honor to represent both the New Glarus and agriculture community.
