Memorial Day in New Glarus

New Glarus American Legion Post 141 will be having a Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 30, 2022, starting at the village hall at 9:00 a.m., with lineup at 8:00 a.m. We would like to invite all area veterans to participate in the parade, either riding on our carrier we will supply or in their vehicles with a signage of their name and service on the vehicle, and anyone else that would like to participate is more than welcome.
The parade will run through town and go down First Street to the school and end at Veterans Park. At that time, at approximately 10:00 a.m., we will have a service and a program in Veterans Park where all are welcome.
