Wildcats Allow Zero Hits Against Parkview

With their win against Marshall, the Belleville Wildcats became conference champions last week. On May 10th, the Belleville Wildcats baseball team played at Cambridge. Cambridge jumped out to an early 2-0 lead and kept it to win the game by the same score.
Ryan Downing and Anthony Nolden were 2x3 at bat, while Owen Stoikes was 1x3.
Carson Syse pitched 5 innings for the Wildcats, striking out 9, while Kaden DeSmet pitched 1 inning.
On May 12th, the Wildcats hosted Parkview. The Wildcats were leading by 6 by the end of the 2nd inning and scored once more in the 5th to win the game. The final score was Belleville 7, Parkview 0.
Ryan Downing was 2x3 at bat with 2 runs scored while Aidan Keyes was 2x3 with 1 run scored and 2 RBI. Trevor Syse, Carson Syse, Anthony Nolden and Carson Heller all scored 1 run each.
Anthony Nolden pitched 6 innings striking out 4, while Devin Frydenlund pitched 1 inning striking out 3. Combined, they gave up 0 hits to Parkview.
On May 13th, the Wildcats played at Marshall. It was a close game until the 6th inning when Belleville scored 5 runs and scored 4 in the 7th to seal the victory. The final score was Belleville 13, Marshall 4.
Carson Syse went 3x5 at bat, scoring 2 runs with 3 RBI, while Owen Stoikes was 2x3 with 1 run scored, Trevor Syse was 2x4 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI and Anthony Nolden was 2x5 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Ryan Downing and Brennan Keyes each scored 2 runs, while Aidan Keyes and Devin Frydenlund scored 1 apiece.
Trevor Syse and Kaden DeSmet shared the mound for Belleville, with Syse striking out 11 and DeSmet 1.
On May 14th, Belleville played against Adams-Friendship, losing 8-11 after Adams-Friendship scored 6 runs in the last 2 innings.
Carson Syse was 3x4 with 1 run scored and 3 RBI, while Kaden DeSmet was 1x2 with 1 run scored and Owen Stoikes went 1x3 at bat with 1 run scored and 1 RBI. Devin Frydenlund scored 2 runs, while Trevor Syse, Gavin Boyum and Carson Heller all scored 1 run each.
Sharing pitching duties were Ryan Downing, Devin Frydenlund and Brett Olson. Downing and Frydenlund struck out 2 each.
Also on May 14th, Belleville played against East Troy. The Wildcats ran away with the game in the 3rd inning, scoring 9 runs, and won it in 5 innings by a score of 16-1.
Carson Syse and Aidan Keyes were both 3x4 at bat, both scoring 2 runs, and Syse had 1 RBI, while Devin Frydenlund was 2x3 at bat, scoring 2 runs with 3 RBI and Anthony Nolden was 1x2, scoring 3 runs. Ryan Downing and Owen Stoikes both scored twice, while Trevor Syse, Brett Olson and Gavin Boyum each scored 1 run.
Niles Monroe pitched 4 innings for Belleville striking out 2, while Aidan Keyes pitched 1 inning striking out 1.
The Wildcats played at Monticello on May 17th. They will host New Glarus on May 20th and play at Johnson Creek on May 21st.
