New Glarus Baseball Wins Over Cambridge

On May 10th, the New Glarus Glarner Knights varsity baseball team played at Waterloo. Waterloo hopped out to a very quick 5 run lead and New Glarus ended up losing the game. The final score was Waterloo 14, New Glarus 4.
Leyton Mihlbauer was 2x3 with 2 runs scored, while Eli Zimmerman and Ethan Friedrich were both 1x3 with 1 run scored.
Leyton Mihlbauer, Patrick Alt and Brett Warrell shared pitching duties for the Knights, with Mihlbauer striking out 1.
On May 13th, the Knights hosted Cambridge. New Glarus scored all their runs in the first 3 innings of the game, cruising to a 3-1 win.
Easton Dreyfus was 2x3 at bat with 1 run scored and 2 RBI and Leyton Mihlbauer scored 2 runs.
Eli Zimmerman pitched 4 innings for the Knights, striking out 10, and Leyton Mihlbauer pitched 1 inning.
New Glarus played at Lake Mills on May 17th. They will host Pecatonica on May 19th and Belleville on May 20th.
