James C. Meier, 75, passed away at his home in Monticello, WI, on December 7, 2021.

James was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired truck driver. He was a member of the Zwingli United Church of Christ, Monticello, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert J. (Dorothy) Meier of Apache Junction, AZ, and Henry and Lena Spring of Monticello, WI; sister, Carolyn (Chuck) Soddy of Monroe, WI; and brother, Glen (Louise) Spring of Albany, WI.

Survivors include brothers, John (Lori) Meier of Peru, IN, Leroy Spring of Monticello, WI, Steve (Kate) Spring of Monticello, WI; sisters, Gayle (John) Roundy of Monroe, WI, Kathy (Allen) Marty of Belleville, WI, and Marsha (Lonnie) Goecks of Franklin, WI; nephews, Kevin Meier of Sarasota, FL, Kyle (Becca) Meier of Lander, WY; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held April 23, 2022, at Highland Cemetery, Monticello, WI, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Lance Smith officiating.

A luncheon will be held after at the Pink Heifer, previously known as the Monticello House, 149 N. Main St., Monticello, WI, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Legion Post 144 Albany, WI.
