Dear Editor,

District 30 Supervisor Pat Downing has stated that “The most important duty we have is to provide for the health, safety and general well-being of our constituents.” I believe Pat is the best candidate fulfill this duty, for the residents of District 30. Pat took this duty very seriously as our Town of Perry Chairman for 24 years, and since 2006 has fulfilled this duty as our District 30 Dane County Supervisor. Pat understands that a large part of fulfilling this duty is to listen to his constituents and work hard on issues that directly impact their wellbeing, such as helping to protect local Cultural and Historical values, work to help bring reliable broadband service, secure funding for our roads, and his work to help seniors in Southwest Dane County. My experience working with Pat over the last 30 plus years is that he has the commitment, determination, and work ethic to represent our local voices.
