Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) members Alaina Smith, Camryn Arnett, and Emma Mondloch have been hard at work sewing pillowcases! The trio has partnered with the Wisconsin Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (WAFCS) and Ryan's Case for Smiles to create hand-sewn pillowcases for children dealing with traumatic stress while being hospitalized. They partnered with NGSD staff and worked three separate concession stands in order to raise funds to purchase fabric. They ended up creating 128 bright and fun pillowcases for the foundation!

Camryn, Alaina and Emma competed at the Regional FCCLA STAR Event competition and qualified for state with their fantastic success and will complete on April 5th in Wisconsin Dells. If you are interested in this cause or want to donate some pillowcases of your own, check out Ryan's Case for Smiles at: https://caseforsmiles.org.
