Have you been on the school board or held any other public office before? If so please describe: I've had the privilege of serving on the Monticello School Board since 2016.

Why are you running for school board? I am running for a seat on the Monticello School Board because I want to continue to use my ideas and my voice to improve our school for all students, staff and the community as a whole.

What issues do you find most important to the school board? How would you handle these issues? Our school district is currently working to pass a referendum in order to maintain the high quality of education the community of Monticello deserves. I will work to educate our community and to serve as a resource for anyone who would like more information on this topic.

An ongoing issue the school board faces is that of budget. With school funding continuing to change each year, it is extremely important to make responsible decisions from a financial standpoint. I will continue to be an advocate for responsible spending of tax dollars.

Any additional comments? As mentioned previously, it has been a privilege and an honor to serve my home town as a school board member. I look forward to putting my all into keeping Monticello Schools progressing forward into the future.
