Glarner Knights Advance to Regionals

In Friday night's win over Marshall Carter Siegenthaler had 20 points, including six 3-pointers.
On February 15th, the Glarner Knights varsity boys basketball team played at Wisconsin Heights. Down by 2 at the half, the game went into OT and New Glarus came out on top. The final score was New Glarus 78, Wisconsin Heights 71.
Dain Walter led the Knights with 20 points and 1 block, while Bryce Stampfli scored 17 points and had 6 assists and 1 steal, A.C. Strok scored 15 points and had 1 assist and 1 steal, and Jack Parman scored 15 points and had 1 assist and 1 steal.
On Friday, February 18th, the Knights hosted Marshall. Going into the halftime break with a 33-30 lead, the Knights came away with the victory. The final score was New Glarus 61, Marshall 56.
Carter Siegenthaler led New Glarus with 20 points, which included six 3-pointers, while Dain Walter put 14 points on the board and A.C. Strok scored 13 points.
The Knights close out their regular season at Cambridge on February 24th. New Glarus finished second in the Capitol South Conference with a record of 6-3. The Knights have been seeded #5 for the WIAA Division 4 Regionals and will host #12 Waterloo on March 1st at 7:00 p.m. The winner will go on to face #4 Deerfield on March 4th.
