On Monday, January 17th, the Belleville Wildcats welcomed the Marshall Cardinals for its first of three games this week. Both teams came out with a lot of energy and saw the first half of the game be quite high scoring with Belleville taking a 42-32 lead into the locker room.

Coach Tony Pharo said, "They made a few defensive adjustments at halftime, and they really focused on the defensive end holding the Cardinals to 18 points while scoring 39 points themselves in the second half, leading to an 81-50 Wildcat victory over Marshall."
