UW-Whitewater Announces Dean’s List

These students have demonstrated their academic abilities by receiving a grade point average of 3.4 or above in a single semester.
Thomas Makes Bradley University’s Fall 2021 Dean’s List
Jordyn Thomas, a Bradley student majoring in Psychology from Belleville, has been named to Bradley’s Fall 2021 Dean’s List. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.
Local Students Named to Fall 2021 President’s Lists at Blackhawk Technical College
Congratulations to the Blackhawk Technical College students who have been named to the President’s High Honors list (4.0 GPA) and President’s Honors (3.5 GPA or higher) for Fall 2021. Students on both lists were enrolled in six or more credit hours.

Iowa State Honors December Graduates
More than 1,800 graduates received degrees from Iowa State University in December. Graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies were held December 17-18 at Hilton Coliseum. Devon Boll, New Glarus, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
Clarke Announces Fall 2021 Dean’s List
Royce Clark, Belleville, and Jared Martinson, New Glarus, were named to the Dean’s List at Clarke University for the Fall 2021 semester. The list recognizes full-time Clarke students who have earned a 3.65 grade-point average or above, on a 4.0 scale, with a minimum of 12 graded hours.
UW-Green Bay Announces Academic Honors
Kaitlynn Pivonka-Johnson, Monticello, has received Semester Honors from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Students who earn a 4.0 grade point average, which represents all “A” grades, receive highest honors. High honors go to students earning 3.99 to 3.75 grade point averages. Honors are given to students earning 3.74 to 3.50 grade point averages. All were full-time students in the fall term, earning 12 or more credits of graded coursework. This list includes students attending all four UW-Green Bay campuses (Green Bay, Marinette, Manitowoc, Sheboygan).
Benafield Named to SNHU President’s List
Jonathan Benafield, New Glarus, has been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s Fall 2021 President’s List. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits; undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in the fall or spring semester, and online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6.
Students Named to Dean’s List for Fall 2021
The following students from the area have been named to the University of Wisconsin-Stout Dean’s List for the fall 2021 semester: Julia McNamar, Belleville; Kallie Ace, Monticello; Michael Schieldt, New Glarus. The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.
UW-Whitewater Awards Scholarships for 2021-2022
Laura Gillaspie, Monticello, is among the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater scholarship recipients receiving financial awards for the 2021-22 academic year. Gillaspie, who is studying Liberal Arts won the Women in Stem UW-Rock County scholarship. Other scholarship recipients are Zack Eaton, Blanchardville, who is studying General Management and won the AMA/Peltier Marketing Award; Boyajian Family Trust Scholarship; Chancellor Scholars; Institute for Sales Excellence Scholarship. Olivia Roth, Albany, an English major, won the Chancellor Scholars scholarship. Dawn Vanderhoof, Brooklyn, is studying Marketing and won the Dr. Ernella Hunziker scholarship.
