Jeremy "Bigs" Bigler Scholarship Presented

Mihkylo "Kylo" Barker, a 2021 graduate of New Glarus High School, was presented with a $1,000 check while home on winter break. Kylo is attending St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI. Kylo loves children and history, and is planning for a career in education. He also excelled in baseball in high school and is anxious to begin spring training when he returns.
The Jeremy "Bigs" Bigler Scholarship was first awarded in 2018 in memory of Jeremy Bigler, a 2003 graduate of New Glarus High School. Jeremy passed away in December of 2016. The scholarship is funded mainly through the "Go Bigs or Go Home'' Trivia Contest held annually in March. Plans are now underway for this year's event.
