The New Glarus Glarner Knights hosted Deerfield at the New Glarus Holiday tournament on Monday, December 27th. The Knights led 35-27 at the half and cruised to a 72-56 win over the Demons.

Dain Walter, who was 4 for 4 from the free throw line, led the Knights with 18 points, while Bryce Stampfli scored 16 points, Carter Siegenthaler put 15 points on the board and A.C. Strok scored 13 points.

The win led New Glarus to play Monroe next. Monroe led at the half by 2 points, 26-24, and went on to win the game 53-47. Monroe won the championship at the tournament, and Brodhead won the consolation game over Deerfield.

Leading New Glarus in scoring was A.C. Strok with 17 points, while Dain Walter and Jack Parman both scored 11 points and Ethan Friedrich put 8 points on the board.

New Glarus played at Barneveld on January 3rd. They will host Belleville on January 7th and play at Pardeeville on January 10th.
