On December 23rd, the Belleville Wildcats varsity boys basketball team hosted the Brodhead Cardinals. Only leading by a single point at the half, 34-33, the Wildcats were able to step up their game in the second half and win the game. The final score was Belleville 79, Brodhead 56.

Coach TJ Zweifel stated that the team, "Played outstanding defensively with great pressure and outscored Brodhead 45-23 in the second half."
