Dear Editor,

It was interesting to see a recent article and picture regarding the Washington 4-H club. I was a member of the Mt. Pleasant 4-H and have many good memories of Camp Upham Woods, exhibiting at county and state fairs and attending state 4-H Club Week at Madison. I served as general leader of the Dutch Hollow 4-H when my sons were members and they still have friends made then. Times have changed, those clubs no longer exist, but the young folks, their parents and leaders still take a lot of time and effort to make this work.

The Washington 4-H members display their fair projects at the Monticello Area Historical Society each October. Stop by and view them as their talents are amazing. Hats off to the young reporter and hope to read more about their meetings and activities in the future.
