Dear New Glarus Community,

Thank you one and all for a very successful Drive on Friday, December 17. First of all, a Thank You from Janet Schlimgen White: “It is because of people like you that Ron was able to live longer with getting weekly blood infusions before succumbing to his blood disease of myelofibrosis.”

We were assigned a goal of 77 units of blood and you all achieved 78! There were a total of 62 whole units and 16 Power Reds. Scheduling was very tight but we managed to include eight walk-ins. A big shout out to all the worker bees for food and help: Food detail: Lynette Reed, Eloise Kuenzi, Iola Isely, Maple Leaf Cheese and Chocolate Haus, Hoesly’s Meats, Culver’s, New Glarus Bakery, Janet Keener, JoAnn Arn, Karen Strahm, Marge Klassy.
