Learning the Art of Giving: Belleville Elementary Students Receive a Special Lesson in a Time of Adversity

When we are young, giving of ourselves is not something we often do naturally but once we learn to do it well, it's a hard thing to stop doing! Belleville Elementary School is recognizing the importance of this lesson by making "giving" a central focus for its staff and students during the month of December. With assemblies and hallway bulletin boards decorated by the elementary school student council representatives with the message: "The Joy of Generosity", teachers and staff are encouraging their young students to open their hearts and look to their neighbors' needs.
