Search Continues for Melissa Trumpy

The search continues for Melissa Trumpy, who has been missing since late October. Melissa’s family and friends organized a search Saturday, December 4, 2021, in Shannon IL, as well as a vigil at a local church in Shannon. Unfortunately, there were no reports of finding Melissa.
Ben Affrunti, the father of Melissa Trumpy’s two youngest kids, talked about how heartbreaking it is for the kids. He has said that all his kids want is their Mom home for Christmas.
Melissa Ann Trumpy, age 37, is a white female, 5’10” in height and weighs approximately 163 pounds. She has blue eyes, long blonde hair and a number of facial piercings. Melissa was last known to have been seen in Monroe on the evening of Tuesday, October 26, 2021, and was believed to have been in Shannon, IL, shortly before her whereabouts became unknown. She was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black coat, black pants and shiny boots. The two vehicles related to the case have been located.
A fund has been set up at Greenwoods State Bank in Monticello, with offices in Monroe and Albany, to assist the family. Funds may be made out to Denise Gilbertson (Melissa’s mother) with a notation to Melissa Trumpy Benefit Fund, in care of Greenwoods Bank, PO Box 388, Monticello WI, 53570,
