Do you want to be a Teen again? Certainly a time of exciting memories and learning experiences, but most of us aged twenty and over say, "Been there, done that." Today, our two teams of 13-18 year olds do not want to be their ages.
On Saturday our huge Van Galder bus pulls into the parking lot of the Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids. Eager New Glarus-Monticello athletes tumble down the stairs and march out to the tent area to make camp. The high point of the cross country season occurs in two hours.
