The Belleville Wildcats played the Poynette Pumas in a WIAA Division 5 tournament on Friday night. The Pumas were seeded #5 for the game, while the Wildcats were seeded #4. As they did for most of their season, the Wildcats dominated the entire game and won 56-14.
Belleville scored first and often, with their first touchdown coming from a 69-yard run by Dylan Posthuma into the end zone. Trevor Syse's extra point was good. Five minutes later, Trevor Syse ran it in from a yard out and kicked the extra point. Poynette scored a TD early on in the second quarter and Belleville answered back...
