Belleville's Carter Scholey had a first place finish and the top spot for the Capitol South Conference at the Watertown Cross Country meet.
The Capitol Conference meet was held at Brand-Quirk Park in Watertown last Saturday and hosted by Watertown Luther Prep. Our conference, the Capitol South, consisted of Belleville, Waterloo, WI Heights/Barneveld, Deerfield/Cambridge, New Glarus/Monticello and Marshall.
Alora Spiegel was placed in 1st Team All-Conference with a 6th place finish and a time of 21:44. Well done Alora! Lainey Winkers came close to 2nd Team with a 15th place finish and a time of 23:30.
