There were great performances and lots of excitement in Platteville on Saturday morning! Our diligence and hard work are paying off!

Alora Spiegel received a ribbon for her 11th place finish, with a time of 22:02. She was followed by Varsity runners Lainey Winkers (24:38), Allison Dyhaug (28:18), Maddie Miller (28:45), Ruby Gustafson (28:49) and Lauren Bartels (30:24). The girls placed 5th of 5 complete teams. Well done!

For the boys, Carter Scholey had a strong 3rd overall place, and a 1st place finish for small schools, with a time of 16:39. He was followed by Jordan Wilder who broke 19 minutes with time of 18:49, Matt Loshaw (18:59), Angelo Dohm (19:04), Aiden Campbell (20:02), Niles Monroe (20:15) and Blake Johnson (20:36). The boys placed 4th of 11 teams in a very tight race in the small school division.

The Wildcats Junior Varsity was led by William Booth, with a time of 23:31.

Junior Varsity was led by William Booth with a time of 23:31, followed by Adrian Jenkins (23:37), Carson Heller 23:38), William Gobel (26:15), Ben Remy (26:37), James Gustafson (27:17), Zach Thole (33:04), Cole Monroe (35:14) and Keegan Dohm (38:12). The JV team placed 13th.

Our fabulous three middle school girls were led by Meara Allen (11:53), followed by Leyna Westphal (12:19), Sophie Howard (12:42) and Emily Fahrekrug (16:37). Our boys team of Carter Scholey (9:59), Carson Biermeier (11:15), Noah Hesch (11:52), Shepard Nass (12:10), Owen Griffin (12:20), Brady Noble (12:44), Christopher Weber (12:58), Aiden Buol (13:55), and Shannon McCall (18:09) did well. This was a 1.5 mile course.

Well done kids! We have our final High School invite on Saturday in Albany, and the Middle School team will be in DeForest on Tuesday afternoon. Come on down and watch some great races!
