The Monticello varsity volleyball team hosted Black Hawk on September 28th. The Lady Ponies won it in three, 25-11; 25-10; 25-18.

Hannah Clark had 4 kills and 5 digs, while Ellie Gustafson had 15 kills and 7 digs, Macy Grant had 4 kills and 23 assists, Kelsy Grant had 4 kills and 2 blocks and Jaden Zuber had 4 aces.

On September 30th, the team played Albany. Monticello won in three, 25-13; 25-12; 25-19.

Ellie Gustafson had 8 digs and 12 kills, while Hannah Clark had 7 kills, Katelyn Eyler had 4 kills and Kelsy Grant had 20 assists and 2 aces.

The Lady Ponies played at Barneveld on October 5th. They will play at Juda on October 12th and host Pecatonica on October 14th. They’re currently undefeated in the Six Rivers Conference at 9-0 and 17-1 overall.
