Marjorie E. Buchholz, age 85, passed away on August 10, 2021, at Agrace Hospice, Janesville, WI. She was born August 22, 1935, in Tomah, WI, the daughter of Walter and Ethel (Kortein) Ward.

Marjorie graduated from Tomah High School. On May 18, 1957, she was united in marriage to Roland C. "Bucky" Buchholz at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Tomah. Marjorie worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Edelweiss Chalet Country Club. She was also an active Badgers sports fan and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.

Marjorie is survived by her two daughters, Ronda Buchholz of New Glarus and Nichelle (John) Bauer of Seven Lakes, NC; two grandchildren, Zachary Buchholz Bauer of Charleston, SC, and Spencer Buchholz Bauer of Charlotte, NC; sister-in-law, Judy Bromley; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roland "Bucky"; brother, David Ward; sister-in-law, Delores Ward; and a brother-in-law, David Bromley.

Memorial services were held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 506 Twelfth Avenue, New Glarus, WI. The Rev. Gene Talley will officiate.

The Zentner-Beal Funeral Home of New Glarus is assisting the family.
