We Invite You Back To The Center

July 29, 2021

The staff at Sugar River Senior Center would like to remind everyone that you are invited to come back in person to the senior center here in Belleville. We are ready for you! We have rescheduled your favorite activities, and we will take suggestions for new activities, too.

Case management, home delivered meals, and our medical supply loan closet have been available throughout the pandemic and remain available to all seniors in our service area. We are serving more people now than ever.

Hoss & Pepper, Canasta, Bunco, Euchre, Bingo, Crafts, Quilting, Foot Care, Healing Touch, and Blood Pressure Screenings are all back, and we will be having more live music events too. Our travel videos and full length movies have remained popular, come on in and check them out! Our weekly coffee hour will return on Tuesdays in September. You can eat lunch in the center Mondays and Fridays at Noon, please call two days in advance to make your meal reservations. You are welcome to attend lunch at HyVee on Wednesdays for the My Meal, My Way program from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. We have a few trips starting and more will be planned going forward. Soon our little 14 passenger bus will be taking us places, too. We feel safe, and we hope you do, too.

So come on back! If you have never been in our space or attended any of our events, the time for that might be NOW. As we are reopening, we plan to make Sugar River Senior Center better than ever.
