The WIAA State Track Meet was held in La Crosse last week, and members of the Sugar River Raiders track team competed in the 3200M run and the 4x800 Relay.
"Despite not finishing as well as they wanted, the boys represented Sugar River very well. We are young and will be back again next year stronger and faster," said Coach Willy Johnson. "Yes, it would have been nice to have podiumed, but the experience in itself to be up in La Crosse competing is priceless as not everyone gets that opportunity.
