2021-2022 New Glarus Dairy Queen

Hello, my name is Izzy Zimmerman. I am the 2021-2022 New Glarus Dairy Queen Candidate. My parents are Tony and Sheridy Zimmerman, and I have three siblings, Ellie, Isaac, and Tanner.

I am a student at New Glarus High School, and I play volleyball for the Knights Volleyball team. I'm an active member of Avon 4-H and I'm excited to join New Glarus FFA in the fall. I'm also excited to further my involvement in the community and for new, fun experiences through the Dairy Queen Program. I would like to thank Rae Reeson, the Eichelkraut family, and my parents for the encouragement and support to apply for this amazing opportunity and allow me to represent Green County and New Glarus in the agriculture community.

2020-2021 Green County Dairy Princess, Ellie Eichelkraut Bids Farewell

Hello my name is Ellie Eichelkraut, and I am the 2020-2021 Green County Dairy Princess from New Glarus. I would like to invite you all to the 2021 Queen's Brunch at the New Glarus Hotel on June 26, 2021. We will start the morning at 9:30 a.m., with Mootails and alphorns played by Matt Streiff. Then we will read the Big Question at 10:00 a.m., with Brunch following at 11:00 a.m. The crowning will begin at 1:30 p.m.! We would love to see you all there!!

I would also like to thank the Ag Chest and New Glarus for all the amazing opportunities throughout this crazy year. Throughout our year, traditional events were cancelled, however the Ag Chest and Rae found and even created more events for us. The Ag Chest gave all of us girls so many opportunities in a year where most people were stuck at home! It has been an amazing year with so many amazing memories and it has taught me so much!

The Ag Chest did amazing things for so many people, not just us queens. They gave kids the opportunity to exhibit their dairy cattle when many shows were canceled. They created new places for people to get their amazing cream puffs, ice cream and grilled cheese, in the absence of a Green County Fair and Cheese Days! They created new events, such as the Valentine's Day Cream Puffs in Albany!

I had so much fun this year and I am so thankful that I had so many amazing opportunities and experiences. I would like to thank Rae Reeson for finding us queens so many amazing events to go to this year! Lastly, I would like to thank New Glarus and Pam Burke for everything you did for me this year!
